The River of Success

The Truckee River in Nevada has lost approximately 90 percent of its forest and 70 percent of its bird population. The Conservancy took on the task of restoring the River to its formal glory. This restoration work benefits the plants, animals and people that rely on a healthy, functioning river.

Mariners and other sea farers should not polllute the waterways and "spills" should be avoided at all costs.

Hopefully Florida's St Johns River, 315 miles, will be preserved & protected from our Water Management District that is permitting it to be pumped. One of few rivers in this world that flows North. Water conservation by all will help save this beautiful environment & it's inhabitants.
