Yes, I would have voted for this measure. My township has voted in a small tax to purchase land, especially wetlands that adjoin one another. This has proceeded well over the 5 or 6 years that we have done this. It was organized, funded, and implemented by citizens right here. The state of MI does contribute to some purchases. I think this works best when locals do it. It is our land, our community and our natural environment.

It's a beautiful part of the world. I'd vote yes for California like the Minnesotans did. The East African video is beautiful and well done. Please send info about adopt an acre in East Africa so I can share the information with others. Again thanks
