Packaging Woes

Seek out no-waste packaging.  I look for products with recyclable packaging.  I avoid tetrapak, styrofoam and unnecessary bags.  I don't buy products in clamshell packing unless I absolutely have to.  Making those choices means less waste, and fewer garbage bags too.  It's a ripple effect.

I used to carry my owner water bottle, instead of using the plastic bottle when i go outside. We need teach more people do that to reduce the write trash!

It surprises me to see people bring their large reusable bags to the farmers' markets, but then they use several smaller/thinner plastic bags to pack their vegetables and fruits in. All that plastic still creates a lot of waste!

I recycle a great deal. I am a vendor at our local Farmers Market so plastic bags and such all get re-used as much as possible. I save and re-used glass bottles and other containers for my dried herbs, making tinctures etc.
